What makes the Lansinoh® bottle different from other bottles?
The Lansinoh® bottle has a wide neck for seamless transition between pumping, storing and feeding breastmilk. As part of the new Lansinoh® Pump-Store-Feed solution, moms can pump directly into one bottle, attach the collar with the NaturalWave® Nipple to feed right away, or seal the bottle with a cap to store breastmilk until needed.

Are Lansinoh® bottles BPA-free?
Yes! Both the bottle and nipple are BPA/BPS free.

What type of plastic is used for the Lansinoh® bottle?
Lansinoh® bottles are made from polypropylene plastic which is chemical, additive, and BPA-free.

Are Lansinoh® bottles and nipples dishwasher safe?
Lansinoh® bottles and NaturalWave® Nipples are dishwasher safe on the top rack only. However, to extend the life of the NaturalWave® Nipple, it is recommended to gently handwash.

Can the Lansinoh® bottles and nipples be sanitized in boiling water?
Yes, the Lansinoh® bottles and NaturalWave® Nipples can be sanitized by boiling in water. Please be sure that there is ample water in the pot, so that no parts of the bottle or nipples touch the bottom or the sides of the pot, as this could cause them to melt.

What is the Air Ventilation System (AVS)?
The Air Ventilation System reduces the intake of air, which is a potential cause of colic and spit up.

Does Lansinoh® make a bottle warmer for the Lansinoh® bottle?
Currently Lansinoh® does not make a bottle warmer. It is recommended to warm the milk in the bottle or breastmilk storage bag using a container filled with warm water and heating to the desired temperature prior to transferring to a bottle, if required, and feeding.

Can the bottles be warmed and heated in a microwave?
No, it is NOT recommend heating breastmilk or any liquid for a baby or toddler in a microwave as the microwave can create hot spots and damage breastmilk nutrients. It is NOT recommend heating the bottle in the microwave in any form.

What flow options do the Lansinoh® NaturalWave® Nipples come in?
Lansinoh® NaturalWave® Nipples come in slow, medium and fast flow depending on baby’s needs. Babies flow preferences often have to do with the way they feed at the breast. Since all babies and their preferences are different, Lansinoh® offers three choices, as one flow type does not work for all.

There are slow, medium and fast nipples. Is there a way to tell them apart?
On the bottom rim of the nipple, the slow-flow nipple reads “Size 2S”, the medium-flow reads “Size 3M” and the fast-flow reads “Size 4L”.

Can a nipple brush be used to clean the nipple?
Yes, a nipple brush can be used to clean the NaturalWave® Nipple if necessary. It is important to be gentle and not poke the brush through the hole, as it is very small, and this action can compromise the silicone. The nipples can also be soaked in warm soapy water, rinsed and air dried, or placed in top rack of the dishwasher.
